It has been a while since the noted Y S Rajasekhar Reddy has passed away and just when everyone thought that his son Y S Jagan would take over the mantle of the Chief Minister from him, things seem to be looking at a delay.
While the pulse is strong that it is none other than Jagan who will work his way to the seat of the Chief Minister, there seems to be a staged strategy that has been adopted to ensure that everything goes off successfully and without any resistance or protests.
On the other hand, a new buzz has begun making rounds that Jagan is likely to come up with a new party and this would be titled Y S Congress. Given the fact that he has got the strong support of many MLAs and MPs in the state, Jagan is said to be toying with this idea in the event of the Chief Minister position not coming to him.
Sources close to him say that Jagan is subjected to some strong pressure from his supporters and well wishers. On the other hand, few Congress members say that Jagan is trying to have his own backup plan just in case the dream of becoming a Chief Minister misfires.
