National Award winning lyricist Pa.Vijay debuts as a hero with 'Gnabagangal', directed by Jeevan. The film, which has already created a buzz, is all set to release on July 3.
Vijay says that the story of the film is based on a true incident involving one of his friends. His friend fell in love with a girl, but she married another man. Vijay's friend was shattered and died a broken man. The events of the story are taken from the diary of his late friend, says Vijay.
Sreedevika plays the female lead and she has dubbed in her own voice for the film. James Vick scores the music. There are 100 significant characters in the film.
