Shamili debuts as a heroine with 'Oy', starring Siddharth Narayan in the lead. Debutant Anand Ranga writes and directs the film and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music. The film, a clean romantic entertainer, is all set for a release this week.
Shamili, the younger sister of Shalini Ajit, was one of the most loved child artistes in south India and her role in Mani Ratnam's 'Anjali' was very much appreciated. Her brother, Rishi aka Richard, is a famous actor in Tollywood.
The cast of the film includes Krishnudu and Tanikella Bharani. Producer Danayya said that Shamili's performance and her girl-next-door looks would be the main asset of 'Oy'.
