The diminutive Saranya Mohan, who played a full-fledged heroine for the first time in ‘Panchamirtham’, says she is fed up with sister roles and that she will accept only lead roles in future. Following the success of ‘Panchamirtham’ , she has bagged two heroine roles in ‘Eeram’ and ‘Vennila Kabadikuzhu’.
Last year, she played sister roles in ‘Jeyamkondan’ and ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’. She plays the hero’s sister in the forthcoming Bharath-starrer, ‘Arumugam’, directed by Suresh Krissna.
Saranya, a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, excels in emotional scenes. The intelligent girl is aware of her limitations and says she is not the one for glamour roles.
