The medical education minister, Ms G. Aruna Kumari, on Tuesday claimed that Mr Barack Obama, was considering replicating the Rajiv Aarogyasri in the US.
The minister said Mr Obama talked about providing medicare to the poor in a convention which was attended by the state advisor, Mr C.C. Reddy. The advisor then told Mr Obama about Aarogyasri. "He was impressed and said he may think on similar lines," Ms Kumari said.
